Jpool Driver Agreement

This Rider Agreement (“Agreement”) governs your use of the Jpool (Journey Pool) platform as a rider. By registering or accepting rides through Jpool, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not register as a rider.
1. Rider Eligibility
To become a Jpool rider, you must:
Be at least 21 years old
Hold a valid driver’s license and necessary permits
Own or have access to a roadworthy vehicle that meets estate requirements
Be a resident of or have authorized access to supported estates
Pass identity and vehicle verification conducted by Jpool
2. Rider Registration
When registering, you must:
Provide accurate personal, contact, and vehicle information
Submit all required verification documents
Keep your account and documents up to date
Agree to Jpool’s Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy
Failure to provide accurate information may result in account suspension or termination.
3. Rider Responsibilities
As a Jpool rider, you agree to:
Drive safely and obey traffic and estate rules
Treat passengers respectfully and professionally
Arrive at pickup locations on time
Only accept rides booked through the Jpool platform
Maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety standards
Promptly report accidents, damages, or incidents to Jpool
Keep communication with passengers professional and courteous
4. Ride Acceptance and Cancellation
Riders may accept or decline ride requests based on availability and safety
Cancellation of accepted rides should be avoided; repeated cancellations may lead to suspension
In emergencies or unsafe situations, riders may cancel trips with explanation to Jpool
5. Payment and Fees
Jpool processes ride payments through the in-app system
Riders receive payment according to the fare calculated by the app
Jpool may deduct service fees or commissions as agreed
Riders must not accept cash payments unless specifically permitted
Payment disputes should be reported promptly via support
6. Safety and Security
Riders must comply with Jpool safety standards, including verified documentation
Use of the SOS/emergency button should be followed when needed
Riders are responsible for maintaining insurance coverage as required by law
Jpool reserves the right to suspend accounts for unsafe or negligent behavior
7. Ratings and Feedback
Passengers can rate and review riders after each ride
Consistently low ratings may result in performance review or suspension
Passengers are encouraged to provide feedback on riders to improve the community
8. Prohibited Conduct
Riders must not:
Engage in harassment, discrimination, or illegal activity
Misrepresent themselves or their vehicle
Share personal passengers information outside the platform
Tamper with the app or ride-matching system
Violate estate rules or traffic regulations
Violations may result in account suspension, fines, or legal action.
9. Account Suspension or Termination
Jpool may suspend or terminate rider accounts for:
Violations of this Agreement or platform policies
Unsafe driving or misconduct
Fraud or falsified documentation
Repeated passengers complaints
Legal or regulatory violations
Suspended or terminated riders may not access or use the platform.
10. Limitation of Liability
Riders operate as independent contractors and are responsible for their own vehicles, insurance, and actions
Jpool is not liable for accidents, injuries, or damages incurred during rides
Riders agree to indemnify Jpool against claims arising from their actions
11. Updates to This Agreement
Jpool may update this Agreement from time to time
Riders will be notified of significant changes via app notifications or email
Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Agreement
