Community Partnership Terms

These Community Partnership Terms (“Agreement”) set out the roles and responsibilities between J-Pool (Journey Pool) and a community, organisation, or property management entity (“Community Partner”).
J-Pool is a community-based coordination platform operated by Eykegai Limited, enabling shared journeys within trusted networks.
By submitting a Service Request or entering into a partnership, you agree to these Terms.
1. Jurisdiction & Applicability
J-Pool aims to operate across multiple regions. This Agreement applies globally; however, certain provisions may vary depending on your location.
- In the United Kingdom, usage is subject to applicable UK laws and regulations
- In Nigeria, usage is subject to applicable Nigerian laws and regulations
J-Pool will operate in compliance with the legal requirements of the applicable jurisdiction.
2. Partnership Purpose
This partnership enables J-Pool to operate within a defined community in order to:
- Support structured and coordinated shared journeys
- Improve reliability and accessibility of daily movement
- Enable cost-sharing within trusted networks
- Provide a simple, community-led mobility system
3. Eligibility of Community Partner
To qualify, the Community Partner must:
- Be an authorised representative of the community or organisation
- Provide accurate information (location, size, structure, point of contact)
- Ensure that internal rules and policies are clearly communicated to participants
4. Community Partner Responsibilities
The Community Partner agrees to:
- Facilitate awareness and access within the community
- Provide relevant onboarding information where required
- Communicate updates or guidelines to participants
- Support safe and responsible use within the community
5. J-Pool Responsibilities
J-Pool agrees to:
- Provide a platform for coordinating shared journeys
- Support onboarding and initial setup
- Enable participant verification processes
- Maintain platform functionality, communication, and updates
- Provide reasonable support for community coordination
6. Operations & Coordination
- All journey coordination is managed through the J-Pool platform
- Cost contributions are arranged between participants within the platform
- J-Pool may adjust operational features based on usage patterns, availability, and community needs
J-Pool does not provide transport services and does not manage physical movement directly.
7. Safety & Responsibility
- J-Pool provides coordination tools and may implement safety features such as identity verification and reporting tools
- Participants are responsible for their own actions and compliance with local laws
- Community Partners remain responsible for internal community rules and access control
J-Pool is not liable for incidents, losses, or damages arising from participant activity.
8. Communication & Feedback
- J-Pool may share updates regarding platform improvements or usage
- Feedback from Community Partners may be used to improve the platform
- Community Partners agree to notify J-Pool of any safety concerns or misuse
9. Termination of Partnership
Either party may terminate the partnership by:
- Providing reasonable notice
- Immediate termination in cases of misuse, unsafe behaviour, or breach of these Terms
Termination does not affect obligations already incurred.
10. Updates to Terms
J-Pool may update these Terms periodically.
Community Partners will be notified where appropriate, and continued participation constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
